Our client, a land developer, was sued for divorce. His wife sought spousal support despite the provisions in their prenuptial agreement. She argued that the agreement was unconscionable and signed under duress. Prior to trial, our firm conducted substantial research, briefed the issues for the court, and took several depositions. During trial, we presented extensive evidence and testimony from financial experts. The court upheld the prenuptial agreement, meaning our client avoided significant spousal support payments.
